　　Whatliesbehindthedailymovementofacity?Lastwinter,wemetinParisandbegandiscussingtheAllegoryoftheCave,astoldinPlato’sRepublic.Themythimagineshumanitylivinginchains,facingthebackofacave,andwatchingshadowsmoveonthewalls,thinkingitisreality.Webothworkwithimages,whichcertainlycanbeillusions,butcanalsobecomeinstrumentsofstruggleandliberationofthought.So,fromthisdiscussion,wedecidedtocreateashortfilm.Wehadafewfixedideas—thecave,thedance,thecitybustlingaroundus—andonequestion:whatwouldhappenifweallmanagedtoturntogethertowardstheexitofthecave?Perhapsitisnotenoughtoassertthatimagesareillusionsaslongasthechainsthatbindusarereal.
